In fandom communities, a "kink meme" refers to an anonymous story prompt, usually sexual in nature, to inspire fan-created content like fanfiction and fan art. While there are many, many, many kink meme tropes (aliens made them do it, sex pollen, there was only one bed), the essential function of a kink meme is to inspire an artist and bolster participation within the fan community. Take this character (or two...or three!), place them in a specific situation, create art, and share!

If we think of nerdlesque as a kink meme prompt, it serves as a function to answer that ever-elusive "Why?"

It could be as simple as 6,000 years of pining finally becoming too much, as complex as a search for redemption, or as silly as the need to escape the innards of a giant non-sentient ice lizard.
